Missing Parts on new MINI 2011!!!!!!!
I was going to install my Forge BOV today but when I was looking at the engine I noticed 2 things which I did not like. BTW I am a first time MINI owner and so far am lovin it. While looking at the intake I noticed there was a solenoid or something that had nothing plugged into it, then upon further investigation when I looked below or under the intake I saw a OEM hard rubber hose that was just sitting there only connected on one end. i know I need a diagram of the engine so that I can use the correct terminology but maybe a GURU (mechanic) can help me out. Or is their a place I can go on the forums to let you guys and gals know exactly what and where I am talking about....Please help....

If you go to www.realoem.com and enter the information for your car, you can pull up parts diagrams for every section of the car. That might help you determine exactly what the disconnected parts are.

No not that one but close...The part I am talking about I circled...Looks like it is supposed to be like it is??
