Mini Cooper S GTR

Not sure if this has been shared in this forum before. Couldn't find it via the search function though.

The site is German but check out the pics. Interesting smooth & streamlined customised bodyworks.

I love the fact that the whole shape is so clean & simple, yet exuding such charm.

Ehhhh..... not crazy about this. Though we all have our own taste and mine is more old school I think.

I'd buy the A panels, Thats about the only part of it that I like. The rest looks like its been stung by a bee, and has swollen up. All of the normal features of the MINI styling are still there, it just looks like they took bondo and smoothed everything out.

I like that its clean and the front end looks kind of like Weismann. A german thing maybe? Personally I'd prefer the JCW aero kit.

The front end looks like it has jowls, very bulldog-like. Personally it's not for me but it is cool in it's own way.

They spent way to much time on the front end of that MINI during the photo shoot. Its nice but way too ricer for me.

I like it better than most aftermarket body kits I've seen for the MINI, but I think it's sending mixed messages. The hard, sharp vents in the A-panels (and to a lesser extent, the vents in the hood) seem to be at odds with the overall bulbous, rounded look of the rest of the panels.

Nice, smooth, clean. A good look. And I'd rather see Mini going towards that look than what I'm seeing in the latest generation cars. Mini seems to be on the fast path to making the Mini look like a lump of blah.

Design wise, it's.....odd. There are elements that I like, such as the extractor vents behind the front wheels, the diffuser at the rear, and the extractors at the back of the hood, which lend some aggression to the design, but then everything else is just completely smoothed out and just very boring to look at honestly. I mean clean is one thing (and usually a very good thing), but this kit is just antiseptic.

Definitly not 300hp more like 226 ps which is about 222hp. Sorry 300hp is not in your future. But it is 110kg lighter which is a plus. Thats a serious weight lose. Other then that this car really isn't anything special other then the body and some interior design stuff.

If I had to name that Mini, I'd go with "Swollen Stormtrooper."

I agree with the "mixed messages" assessment, and also the too smoothed-out comment...it just looks weird.

No, no 300hp is what I would put in it.

I actually like this. Probably the first heavily modified body kit I like.
