knocking engine

Almost three weeks ago I added half a can of seafoam in the gas tank supposedly to clean injectors, etc, etc. and since then the engine is knocking when start moving from stand still in 1st or reverse. It also happens if Im driving slow(+-40km/h) and put 4th o 5th gear and floor the pedal.I already emptied the tank I poured the seafoam in and another one.Can this damage my engine? how can I solve this?
