Trying to remove shift knob- help please

Trying to remove shift ****- help please

Can anyone advise on how to remove a 6 speed manual shift **** with out damage. I am replacing stock **** with an after market one. Thanks

What year car? It might help if you had a little more info in the future.

As for the ****, pull up and pull hard. If you have a sunroof you might want to open it

You have to pull straight up. Be careful not to punch yourself in the head.

Bahaha. What this guy said! You r hand might fly through the roof with how hard you need to pull.

I actually thought it was one of those ***** that twists off. After quite a while trying to turn the thing thinking it was stuck, I pulled up and then felt like such an idiot.

sounds like you guys might of had some close calls in removing the shift **** or have actually smack yourself

After removing the **** do you have to remove the boot also.?

to do what?

if replacing the **** there's no reason to replace the other leather trim . . .
