Engine Malfunction

Hi i just got my new Mini Cooper 2011 in March. I dont even have 2000 miles on the car yet. I got my first problem with the car at about 1850 miles. I checked the Owner's Manual and it said "Full engine power no longer available." I took the car about 4/29(Took more than a week to fix it), and within a span of 3 days (less than 50 miles), i got the same exact problem already. Is anyone experiencing these problems too? I'm starting to think that i might have gotten a lemon or something.

No, have'nt had that problem with mine. Sounds like the dealer just did'nt get the problem fixed. I'd give em another chance before I started thinking lemon. And I assume they're giving you a loaner to drive ???

Oh, MC or MCS ????

If you bought it from a Mini Dealership you should get a Loaner immediately. You are under Warranty and the Roadside Assistance Program should take care of you and get you the loaner that all Dealerships that I know ofdo.

I have a 2009 Cooper and a 2011 MCS. the 2011 has the different valve management system than the 2009.
