Hate vs Love- Hate wins

I hope its just a forum thing. The "What do you hate most about your Mini" got 28 replies in the first day alone and has been going on since last July.
The "What do you Love about your Mini" has gotten 13 replies in 3 days.

I know people like to ***** more than they like to praise, but I think this really shows how basing ones opinion of a car based on forum responses can lead to a mostly negative impression.

I refuse to believe that the nagging things like a few raindrops falling on the seats or brakedust overshadow the look, power, fuel efficiency, or fun that these cars provide.

I couldn't agree more. We love our MINI's. We've currently got '08 and '09 MCS's, have had a total of four, and still look forward to driving them every day. We've had bigger, faster, more expensive vehicles but none that we still "loved" after 2 and 3 years of ownership like our MINI's.

It's a guy thing. We don't like talking about our "love" emotions too much.

Hello from Toronto, Canada. I am very close to buying the Mini Countryman. Besides the turbo in the S, anyone have any comments about whoich one to get or is it personal as to whether you like the acceleration etc. Anything I should know about the Countryman that may be important?

Completely personal! If you are going to do high altitude hill/mountain driving, get a Cooper S. All4 Cooper S if you want that extra grip in mud/snow/rain. Cooper if you want it cheaper all the way around-better fuel mileage, lower initial cost, fewer moving parts(turbo and no All4 option). I've only driven a Cooper S All4 and that's what I'd get because I want all that it can do.
