Future Mini wish list...what would you like?

What option or features would you like to see Mini offer in the future?

1.) How about a driver display area that lets you choose what gauges you want to display i.e., tach, coolant temp, boost pressure, speed, voltages, etc. similar to the "Torque" app on android. It seems several mini owners end up adding gauge pods or want to add them because of a lack of information for drivers who do want to monitor what their car is doing.

2.) A better solution to the electrical plug situation. If we add a phone, GPS, etc, we need more than one cigarette lighter plug. There's got to be a better answer to give electrical sources to all the accessories without needing 3 or 4 big round cigarette lighter plugs. Maybe a bank of 3 or 4 usb connections to provide power for accessories? Located up near the top of the dash instead of down near the floor?

More information is better!

1) A way to adjust the mid-range in the sound system

2) A way to unlatch the boot from the inside

Power seats with memory.
Maybe a better way to deal with the shelf thing in the boot when you lower the back seats down.
I just went from an '06 MCS to an '11 MCS and am thrilled with all the improvements they've made in the past 5 years so my list is just little inconveniences, not things that really ruin my day .

I'll just settle for a 6.2L V8; with dual supercharges too on the S.

I thought flipped it over, and laying down over the rear floor, was pretty ingenious design.

Yea. Change the steering column mounted tach, to a round plasma display (btw, the original native color of a monochrome gas-plasma display just happens to be orange!). The driver could then pick what readouts they want, with I guess a full display analog tach as the default.

A HUD would be awesome, and cooled seats paired with opaque sun screens for the sun roofs would be nice as part of a "hot weather" package (I live in Houston and summers get pretty brutal so a way of cooling things down more effectively is always a plus here.

Heated steering wheel would definitely be awesome. I'd like to see more funky colors too-not that the colors they currently offer aren't unique, but I think they can be more creative. Personally, I'd like a nice dark metallic turquoise. And with that, have the rest of the interior lights sync with the ambient lighting feature.

A sedan delivery verson of the clubman. like the chevy HHR with no side windows. Those of us that haul stuff would like it. The original mini had a verson like this but I cannot remember the name.If anyone wants to photo shop one that would be awsome.

It fits quite neatly "inside" the back seats. On top of the bottom seat, below the seat backs folded down.

I'll second the AWD! And more power never hurt anyone... directly anyway.

Power seats (height, position and tilt) AND side view mirrors, BOTH with memory settings saved in the key FOBs.
I could add auto adjusting (memory) steering wheel position and rear view mirror but that may be pushing it.

A shorter throw on the shifter would be nice too, nothing drastic, it'd just be nice to be able to use 5th and 6th without feeling up my passenger's leg.

not too get all nerdy but it would have to be LCD. Plasma cant withstand the differences in temperature. Hot-Cold. But i agree it would be awesome and very mini-like. Mercedes is doing it, hell even ford is doing it

i agree with the shifter, i dont like feeling up my passengers leg when rowing throw the gears. I also would LOVE to have the front cup holders moved back 2" to accommodate my WaWa mug. I would also love to see the color changing LED's flow to the tac and spedo. It would be such a simple thing for mini todo and would be awesome.

More power would be really nice. they upped it for 2011 by 10hp but it seems like alot of the smaller cars out there are getting alot more HP then what mini is getting stock. I just cant see how the new 3 cylinder engines will be able to produce more power and torque i wish mini/bmw would just poor all that R&D money into developing a the most powerful engine they can in the space provided.

Let's see...

How about a speedometer that's accurate, a fuel gauge that's accurate, ....
