I'm back!!

feels good to be back into the mini community! i just purchased my second mini! an '06 MCS, i had got into a bad accident with my 1st mini i got t-boned at a red light. some idiot ran the light. i was ok but not the mini. so i had no other choice than to get another car. i was in a desperate need of a car so i bought my friends harley davidson f-150. i had it for about 8 months or so. let me tell you one thing. the gas that thing chugged was incredible. 20$ a day!!! on top of that, the repiars i had to do to it was insane. the engine was a 5.4L v8 supercharged. it blew a spark plug and stripped the threads. i had to buy a new head from the dealer becuase no one else had it. so there goes about 2300 dollars. so then last week i sold the truck and jumped into a 06 cooper s. the last mini i had was an 07 turbo. and i dont know why but i like the supercharged models better. but ill miss my turbo mini, but atleast i have my favorite car again. now i can finally say LET THE MODDING BEGIN!!!!

my plans are CAI, 15% pully (for now) , exhaust, headers, short shifter, and tune.

i've had civic Si's, s2000's, and an stealth r/t turbo, and drivin tons of cars. i dont know if its just me but theres nothing like the practicality and simplicity of a mini cooper. nothing beats it. I'm glad to be back.

Glad you're okay (vehicles can always be replaced.....we can't). Congrats on the second Mini, lets see some pics!! I know what you mean about liking the Mini, I've had some great cars in the past, but the Mini is just a blast to drive.

Welcome back. The '06 was definitely the best of the Gen 1 cars. All of the bugs worked out. There is just something about the sound of the supercharger and the tautness of the suspension on the R53s that I really like.
