I think I made a big mistake

Today, for the first time since taking delivery of my MCS in November I asked the wife if she wanted to drive the Mini. She did really well, especially since it'd been over ten years since she'd driven a manual. Problem is , she likes it and now she, my Mini and my son are off somewhere. Never should have let her drive it, maybe a two Mini family in the future ???

PS. Her first time in a turbocharged car. THAT was fun hehehehehehe

Let sleeping Mini's lie...

My wife thinks her Prius is a "fun" car. I'm happy to let her live with that delusion. She has shown little interest in learning to drive my MCS standard.

Some things I just don't want to share.

If I read your post right, you are heading for a three Mini family.

Sometimes it works the other way around....

My wife bought a 2007 Cooper Cabrio about three years ago. I was happy driving my Tacoma. Then she asked me if I wanted to drive it to work one day - I was hooked. I kept asking her if I could drive it and she would say yes. Until one day I asked once too often and she told me to get my own. Sold the truck and my daughters TDI Jetta (as she moved to NYC) and bought my self my own toy!!!! Three years later still loving it - way too much spent on mods, but the track time and autox has been a blast. I still look for different ways home so I can drive twisty roads.

Cheers,
Greg

I made the same mistake bout a month ago. Now on the weekends when we need to take the kids in different directions, its a race to see who can get ready and out the door the fastest. Luckily I usually win

I got the R55 in December and she got her R57 in January. We need stickers that says " My other car is a Mini " for both cars.

That is the deal. No one realizes what they are missing until, they drive it. Then Forget about it!!!!

My wife drove mine, but didn't like the "whining" sound (that beautiful SC sound)... I told her it did it all the time and didn't know how to fix it - she hasn't driven it since. I tell her I must be used to the sound and don't notice it anymore

See, this is where I WANT to be haha. I am trying to get the wife to drive Das Stinktier in the hopes she likes/loves it. That way we can get another Cooper, perhaps an S and maybe, just maybe if I am lucky I will get the S and she will be happy with the justa.
