Well I saw all the posts describing how male the guys were...

 

Funny, im 25 male from Montana, so every other car is a truck.

 

My husband originally bought the car for himself, but he's overseas now. I have since claimed it. He will be getting himself another when he gets back. I, too, have noticed that most (though not all) of the "modded for performance" MINI's are driven by guys. I saw a sticker once that I want to get for him, it said "smaller guys drive bigger cars"

 

Just a regular lookin' guy. I haven't had any comments about my car other than from other MINI owners at the grocery store parking lot.

Ok, well, almost 40 MALE. Other car is a RAM 2500 tow vehicle. Don't you dare call my JCW mini a girl car, but then again, my girl did! hehehe. Don't care, the car is a blast.

chick here. . . I may not know how to install anything like tow hooks, pulleys or sway bars, but I helped rotate my tires and check air pressure every week, I check my own oil every month, I am learning all about what tires I should get next time around, and I detail my MINI every weekend all by myself!

 

its pretty attractive to know that a girl/woman knows how to take care of her car

 

Other women usually look at me like I'm some sort of freak when I come sliding out from under my vehicle on a creeper...but for some reason most men say its sexy

I guess that's why all those snap-on tool posters and ads contain barely dressed gals with tools in their hand!

Dude in a mid-life crisis here. I love my 06 MCS. I live in an area where most guys drive 4 wheel drive monster trucks.

I have never loved a car like this before. I can not imagine not having "Flash" around!

 

No no none of that. I'm happily married. Glad to hear there are other ladies on here that know/are learning to take care of their cars. I'm currently reading about how to remove certain items so I can plasti-dip them.

Expected in originally on feb 9, but now the shipping date on the WW shipping page says it is going to be at the New York Port on Feb 10, a Thursday.

...not sure when it will go from the Jersey city depo to South Jersey, and my MA has not called me to talk about pickup - so I'm guessing at least another week, MINImum, unfortunately.

Yes I watched the videos on how to do those. So I'll probably do them first. Then it will be the headlight and tail light rings.

 

Very secure 49 year old male here. I am used this. I am replacing an '04 Chrysler Sebring Convertible, which also tends to have a reputation of being a "chick" car. Can't wait for my MCS.

 

I've always liked the look of Sebring convertibles, I've never thought of it as a "chick car".
