Female. I bought my Mini on Christmas eve as a present to myself

It's too bad I don't get to drive it much...since I won't drive it in this salty icy messy weather we've been having. Instead, I drive my lifted pickup truck with 4wd and 33 inch mud terrains. Yeah, most people think it's a "guys truck"...when people see me hop out of it, they usually say "oh How nice, your boyfriend/husband let's you drive his truck" and then I politely correct them..."actually, I sorta built this truck myself, he drives a Camry".

 

Look at Molly and you tell me, what I am??!! Made ya' L@@K!! Molly was my 45th Birthday Present, she'll be 3 (Production Date) next Month...does that tell you how Old I will be in 15 Days!!

my lifestyle is def not alternative, more like fitness oriented, yes im a gym rat and that is a whole new lifestyle

 

I'm a 41 yr old guy w/permanent five o'clock shadow & 8 tattoos driving a BRG R53. There are three other MINIs at my office, but all have female pilots.

The only comments I've gotten are on my "I am the Stig" boot badge.

im 17 and still in HS lol bought my MINI at first everybody in school looked a tme funny and even my girlfriend said it was a "gay" car. i got so mad at her. i scared her shitless when i stomped on it and the wheels spun for 100feet then i took her around the twisties at record speed. she now understands why i bought it and ive tought her to drive manual now. shes always askign to drive it now.

 

40 year old male here. I have a collection of 400 -500 hp muscle cars and my 08 Mini Cooper, I have only had 1 negative comment that I hear from the same person once a week. All I can say, is 400+ miles to my tank of fuel...Doesn't quite shut him up, but hard to argue against. PS, I love this little car more than I expected too.

 

Ive seen more guys in minis than I have seen girls. All the modded minis Ive seen have been guys driving them.

 

Haha that's pretty funny. I thought I was the only teenager who liked MINIs. A lot of girls make fun of me to, they always ask why I got one they always say I should have got a truck or SUV.

 

lol you should pull down your pants and tell them you dont need to make up for anything by getting a big truck, or an SUV.

I think weird comments and looks depend on what part of country..

All the time people always say Arnt you to tall for that? I usually say yeah I took the front seat out and I sit in the back which gives them a good laugh.

 

I'm 45 and 6'4" My wife and two sons are tall, too. People have told me it will look like a clown car when they see the four of us getting out of our Countryman.
