A "clean" towhook?

I purchased and installed a set of the ebay ones mentioned earlier in this thread. They appear to be a very nice piece.( read strong!) They have a steel insert and an Almuminum ring. They are adjustable. They look real nice on my Red car. I tie mine down in the toy hauler so I needed these. I am gonna leave them on all the time.
well two months later im finally posting a pic of my towhook. It was red, i sanded it down primed,painted and cleared with the left over paint from my calibers.
I still need to get the towhook cover drilled, i purchased a pre-primed one but for the life of me i cannot get the paint to stick/come out glossy like it should. Ill figure out what going on but in the mean time here she is
