Turbo Whistler Valve

Has anyone ever used one of these? Is this even safe to use? It looks like it would block the muffler and make the exhaust take longer to exit the vehicle. Id like to try it but dont know if its ok for the car.

Please step away from the car. If you have a turbo don't worry about this, if you have supercharger stay away from this, and if you own a n/a don't waste your money.
