I am new to this site, glad to be part of it.

I am trying to remove my roof mounts for the winter and have begun the process, but have reached a point where I have no clue, instructions don't help, how to get the part of the mount out of the car body grooves. I would appreciate anyones expertice for this. Thanks so much. Also, if any of you motor on Saturdays rather than Sundays I'd really like to know so I could maybe join in the fun,
