Anyone have a skunk?

By that I mean a black mini with a racing stripe down the middle. I think that would be great. Add a plate that says "STINKY" and you are good to go.

No, but my plate would be "PEPPY".

No, but I used to have a pet skunk.

He was fun to watch, they're so nearsighted that he'd run up on something, not knowing what it was, then stop short and just about go *** over end, then stomp one of his front feet to try and intimidate it - "it" a lot of times turned out to be a book or some other inanimate object!

One night we had a party at my house for the car club, someone had opened the closet door (probably looking for the bathroom) where I kept him when people were over and didn't get it closed all the way. Next thing I knew the entire party seemed to have moved into the front yard and people were giggling and looking nervously at the house. I firgured it out pretty quickly and Pepe became the hit of the party when I picked him up and introduced him....and yes, he'd been "descented".

He lived a long time, but we eventually took him down to the folk's farm, I never did get him completely housebroken and he pooped in legendary amounts!

We were seriously thinking about turning mine into a "skunk" -- white viper stripes, and a vanity tag that says "LE PEW". Still might do it when I get tired of its current configuration.

My car is dark silver. If it was black, I would do it without a doubt. Keep me posted.

I have a MiniDoMore hitch on the Krautenküper. I'll get a small, black cargo trailer, continue the viper stripes on it, and it'll be the tail.

I will have to get some pictures of Das Stinktier this weekend for you. She is a beauty! I think it really makes the MINI stand out, with the white roof and mirrors, plus the bonnet stripes. I am thinking in the spring to replace them with the viper stripes though, something about them that I really like. Probably the fact that they run on the roof and boot, not just the bonnet.

Edit:
There are a few pictures already in my gallery one from the front, I still want to get some more this weekend tho.

Saw all Black with white viper stripes at the dealer the other day. It looked very good. It had white rims which were abit much but I liked the look a lot. If I get board in the future and can peel the flat balck and go 180 to white.

I say go for it murdoc. I put viper stripes on the wife's mini, tinted the windows and put a Alta CAI. Best part, she doesn't even go into 4th gear. LOL.

I really like the center stipes, but my fear for me is the paint has faded on the old girl and if I remove the bonnet stripes I will have noticable lines. Otherwise I would have done it already.

THis was inspired when my buddy remarked how my car was "skunkworks voodoo". I bought this sticker for the rear... http://www.cafepress.com/+skunk_works_sticker,189842878 and my mind wandered from there. The dark grey should go well with this sticker (my one and only).

My gallery has her before and after images. The DS car has now been tinted (except the rear window, I never tint the rear since I like to keep an eye on my six.) That picture was before I bought it.
