My very first Mini..adoption date is Wednesday!

Hello all,

I am a new almost-mini owner. After driving a Kia Rio around, it is time for my dream car. I have been obsessed with Mini's for YEARS! While going to college, I stayed living at home, and am still here. Since I have no other bills to pay for, I figured I might as well splurge for my first mini since I can afford it!!

My mini is 2005 Base model, automatic trans, sunroof

41K miles

Clean Carfax

Brilliant Blue with Eagle wings along the sides!!

$14800

I have already negotiated the loan rate with the dealer and came to a comfortable agreement. Wednesday I am heading up to test drive and take it home if everything is working right! (Which I am almost certain will be)

Any advice for me? Is this a good deal for this mini? Should I expect any pricey repairs anytime soon?

The base model has a CVT auto that can be very expensive to replace if not maintained properly. I would verify that it has had its fluid changed at around 30K and if not, get it checked out ASAP.

Congratulations on your MINI!! Don't worry, these are great cars, it would'nt hurt to have it checked though. You got yourself a good deal! If you have any questions I'm a Motoring Advisor for Orlando MINI, I would be glad to help if anything arises, also I have a Service Advisor right down the hall! Give me a shout! Welcome!

Thank you for the good advice! And thanks, Cutting11S, for offering the help.

The car has been through many inspections and transmission checks due to moving around many dealerships. I will keep my eye out on the fluid changes and be sure to bring this up on the test drive.

Thanks!!! I am very excited, it is almost 2 am here and I cannot sleep for the life of me....can't get my mind to stop thinking about how tomorrow will go, how it will feel seeing my MINI in person, and pondering names for it

I GOT MY MINI!

Since I can't figure out how to get the pics on here, go check out my gallery to see him!!

I got a 4 year warranty on it...I just knew if I didn't something would go wrong. What upset me was they didn't fill up the gas tank-even after I asked

Oh well, I have named the MINI "Zippy". I was hoping for a more original name, but it just suits his personality so well!!! Looking forward to seeing what all the buttons and ***** do!
