I had one of our Mini's serviced and was told by the service manager that the car needed tires. It had 26,000 miles on it. Said no thanks and took the car to Discount tire. They inspected the tires along with me and said no way. The tires are wearing fine with lots of tread left. I rotate my own tires on both of our cars every 5K miles and did not notice any problems either.

Weird. Maybe he got my car confused with another???
