I wasn't trying to poke your eye
It's more of a crack on things around here, and when I got
married, I had quite a lot of suggestions on what style of
life we should move to, including offers of loans that would be
somehow made to work out.
Keep in mind I had no idea a crash was coming but I had a really
uneasy feeling about leaving no room for contengencies.
Our loan was at that time...<thinks> 18% of my gross income only.
Well, since then we had to replace two cars neither by choice,
AND our income went down to 65% of what we were making combined.
Big hit, and we've worked through most of it but I can tell you had
I taken the man's offer of fame and glory, we would be in a tent right now.

hey my eye is not poked, not to worry! I rent!
It's been a crazy market the last several years. I'm in the building industry, and have family connections to FANNIE MAE (or did) and this perfect storm of fail was apparent for a long time before people started pointing fingers and not solving the problem.
That said, STICKERS yay!

That Prestige logo comes off with no damage to your paint. The only thing I would think of is fading of the paint if your car is really old and sits outside a lot.
Here's how to remove the logo:
I worked at dealers for the past few years and honestly grabbing it and giving it a good pull is a great method because: 1. you're probably strong enough to tug it off (i always can and i'm lanky) and 2. using anything to pry it off will run the risk of damaging your paint. If you absolutely can't tug off the logo with your bare hands, put a thick cloth (like a sweater sleeve or a dishtowel) next to the logo so that the cloth goes right up next to where the logo starts and use a screwdriver (flat-head) to pry off the logo. MAKE SURE the screwdriver doesn't hit up against the paint and that the cloth is acting as a buffer.
Now, getting the logo off is the easy part. The reason most people don't do this is because of the residue left behind once the logo has come off. No problem. There are a number of great cleaning products such as "goo-gone" and similar products similarly designed for cars that will easily, (with the help of a rag) in about 30 seconds, clean off all the white sticker gooey residue. After that, BOOM, you're done and you've freed up some more real estate for making your MINI more you.
Hope this helps! Happy Motoring.
