I would like to see what they came up with for the front & back, but from looking at the side view, do I like it? Not from what I can see thus far. I'll keep my 06' MCS forever if that is the way they are going with mini!

 

Car designers just don't get it! Sometimes when a car is created it has classic lines and everything just fits. That's why people buy it. Then the manufacturer starts getting the idea that if they make some changes more even more people will buy it. The mini has achieved its classic lines - don't mess with it!

A good example is the Ford Mustang. When it first came out it was a huge hit. Then it started to evolve into something that lost all it's original appeal. Recently Ford got smart and brought back the original style but this time with all the technological advances of materials, paints, drivetrain, and performance. Now they have a winner again! Even the classic style of the Camaro and Challenger are coming back.

That's what BMW should do with the Mini. Keep the style very much the same and spend their time making the performance of the mini their top priority. This way they will keep and increase their customer base!

 

GROSSSSSS, i like the old style MINI the first ones off the boat simple and clean looking! thats the way i like it!

 

It's an abomination. A clear sign of the apocalypse. Don't like it.
