Do you name your car?

As I posted in 1st Gear, I'm picking up my new MINI tomorrow. I've always named my cars and am trying to come up with a name for my new red MINI.

Does anyone else name their cars? If so, what is your car's name?

Carole

Mine has 2 names, depending on the day: if it's working good that day, I call it "thankgoditspaidfor"......

....if it's working bad I call it "@%$x#&#XX*$#"

Actually Carole, you will find that a lot of members here have named their Mini's, in fact I believe their is a thread about it somewhere, which should give you some ideas

BTW, congrats on the new Mini

EDIT: Carole, Took awhile but I knew I could find it doesyourminihaveaname

Hendrix originally .... but now HENDRX to match my vanity plate.

How about "Jessica"? My favorite character on HBO's True Blood series.

Aw, sweetie...don't worry about it. As you'll find from reading that thread posted in the previous posting duel ( ), YOU don't actually name the MINI. The MINI names itself and then lets YOU know. Mine's is "Mints." I thought it was a tomboy at first, but about a year of owning it, he decided to tell me I was simply "projecting", he was definitely a boy, and his name was Mints. I got the message and we've been happy ever since. Together we are x UHOH x. Good luck and happy motoring!

Yea, it's sort of like naming a dog! Congrats and post some pics when he/she shows up.

You're probably right. I'm going to be driving it a lot, so I'll make sure to listen to what she tells me

Thanks everyone. I'm going to go read the other thread now.

It's an overcast day in WA today, so I'm hoping the clouds will part for a few minutes so I can take some nice photos. I'm also going to have my salesperson take a couple of photos of me with the car. I get her in about 5 hours :-))))

No name here...a couple of nicknames as reference only, but never formally named. I'm not much for jumping on the trendy bandwagon, but that's me.

My 07 R56S

His name is "Miles". I think that is self-explanitory.
