hey guys so i'm about to (a month-ish) head back to seattle from socal and i want to mix things up a bit. i usually take the 101 to san fran then head to the 5 and that takes me straight to seattle. this time i want to stop and see some cool places. i am able to spend the night or two in san fran cuz i've got family and possibly have a place to stay in eugene, or. im just looking for places to see, things to do, and some great food.

 

Take CA HWY 1 up the California coast and into Oregon. Continue up the Oregon coast ,it is exceptionally beautiful. Cross Into WA at Astoria and wind your way up to Seattle. You will not regret doing it.

 

I like Dr. Peppers sugestion, pretty stuff all the way.

 

I enjoyed the 101 on the coast of Oregon near Eugene... but really I don't think you can go wrong in that area...

 

I did Seatle to Santa Cruz on the 1, well from the 5 to the 199 in Oregon and 101 in CA, to finally the 1.
