Tsw Out Of Buisness!!!
Sorry I'm still not giving away the big secret. The new guys in charge asked me not to, and I will respect them on this one. You can continue to guess all you want but I will not spill the beans even if You Are Right in some way or another.
It says on the txwerks.com site that "Texas Speedwerks has sold our inventory and IP to a very good dealer/installer. The new owner will manufacture and sell our great products on a new website. The new owner is Waylen Hunsucker and his company is Way Motor Works in Atlanta, GA.

I agree, this will work. Way is a good guy. He fixed my power steering on the last day of the 2010 Dragon because he had the pump in stock.

Let me say this. The team at TSW, Jeff, Scott, and test driver Mike, have done an awesome job for the MINI performance enthusiast. As an example, the MINI brakes and what to do about them. A four piston caliper setup was needed and still is needed on the MINI from the showroom. At least as an option.
Even with my 4-piston Wilwood setup the rotors could not take the heat on the track. TSW came to my rescue with track-developed massive front rotors that can take all the abuse I can give them and not give up. Plus, I can change from street pads to track pads in minutes.
TSW also solved my engine torque movement in the engine bay.
I also have awesome track-tested coilover suspension.
Texas Speedwerks, thank you!

Well the cat is out of the bag, NOT my fault Way.
Yes it is true, 2 great company's have merged into one. Not quite everything is on WAY's site yet but be patient it is coming. The last of TSW's merchandise is in transit to the new Way Motor Works facility as we speak (or type). So everything should be avalible soon.

For the record, my first guess was right!!!
And this is awesome news--means I can get my stuff from someone trustworthy.
I hope Jeff, Mike and everyone over there stay involved though--I did see Mike make a recent post; that's an encouraging sign!

Yes, I hope they stay involved in parts development. My friend had bought KW coilovers from KW and you could tell they had not been tested on a Mini, the spring rates were way to low. He called TSW and they got him the correct springs. He said he should have went straight to TSW in the first place
This is indeed good news. Way is a good guy. First met him when I bought my mini. However, I think he's avoiding me - can't get ahold of him. Maybe he doesn't want to fix the problems my local mini garage caused. Honestly, I tried to get him to do the work but it was when he was moving to his new location in Atl. and was impossible to contact. Something about being overwhelmed.........
Sorry but since you emailed me last night I haven't had time to respond. I try not to work on weekends, but that doesn't work out all the time.
Anyway sorry about your problems I know when you wanted all the work originally I tried to get you a good combination, but you had already bought most the parts and the price I quoted you was higher than normal cause you hadn't bought any from us, so I figured that is why you didn't have use do the work. I'll pm you about my Indy schedule.

Back on topic
Thanks to everyone for the kind comments. We've been working with Jeff on this deal for awhile, and we still weren't ready to announce it, but Jeff needed to do something with all the emails and phone calls he was getting. So the cat is out of the bag. We have purchased TSW along with all their product designs, IP and current inventory. The inventory is in process of moving to our Atlanta shop, but it won't be fast getting here. But for the major products that are out of stock like the 05-06 motor mounts and 14-12mm stud kits production is started so we can make them available ASAP. Please bear with us as we transition.
Thanks
WAY
Thanks

I was also worried about what I will now call my Way Bad Mother of all Big Brake Kits! Some day I'm going to need new rotors and pads.
Ordered some carbotech's for the BDM from Way the other day.
Definitely best case scenario; I was worried too (I had to buy new rotors, but did that with TSW way before this happened--got the new revised treated rotors, which are really holding up nicely, better than the original BDM rotors--don't know if it's the rotors, or switching back to the carbotech's; I definitely like the carbotech's over the Raybestos pads).

Ok we have officially posted it now.

We are working as fast as possible to get 05-06 motor mounts, and wheel studs available again. We will post as soon as they are.
