Okay, just how anal of an owner are you?
I do "NOT" take my JCW to Walmart ""EVER""
No food or Drinks in my car. "EVER"
No slamming the door or using the window glass as a handle.
Never park in a parking lot full of old people that don't give a crap about using your car for a door stop. (I'm 67 so don't flame me)
Never to Walmart because even when you park way out in no mans land you will find a door banger next to you when you come out. I once came out when I had my Corvette and a whole family parked their van/motorhome right next to my Vette and while dad was cooking hot dogs the six kids were throwing a ball and playing with a frizby. No more Walmart parking for me unless I take my Samuari which did get backed into by an old lady that backed out across the isle and into my front bumper. I guess she could not turn her head to look where she was going. It just pushed the end of my bumper in a very little bit but it destroyed the bumper cover on her Buick. She tried to put the blame on me for being there or something. I was parked and legal. The cop wrote her up for wreclkess driving. (She called the cop, not me), I was inside the store and they paged me to go out to the parking lot. Her excuse to the cop was my car was too small and she did not see it. A Suizuki Samauri is actually taller then her Buick. She just plain did not look.
I never ever let anyone drive my car. NEVER + EVER +NEVER + EVER

Its strange I have owned a Chevy Barretta(piece of junk) that was always trashed out inside. I have also owned two different Mustangs(one a great car for 10 years and then started falling apart, the other a lemon that didnt last the first year) that I was indifferent at best about keeping clean.
I get my MINI though and I cant help but want to keep it clean and nice looking. I have to take him to the detailer every other week at most now and since I am friends with the detailer it gets detailed within an inch of its life. Probably should take him more often or do it myself but I dont.

I am not as **** as most of you who have responded, but I'm not a slob either.
When I first got it I was all about keeping the interior and exterior clean, clean clean. Then the NH winter came. VERY hard to keep a winter driver clean up here. I did my best with a touchless wash to keep the salt off. Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of a winter-friendly wash location at my house. My driveway would be more dangerous than it is now if I were to run water over it....
The other factor is that I have a 3 year old. Love the kid but he is messy. I think that I vacuumed up about a box of goldfish that found their way under his car seat. However, I only give him dry stuff and for the most part the car is pretty clean.
I just drive the damn thing and keep it as tidy as possible. I'm a crappy detailer so "good enough" is what it gets. I admit that the addition of a shop vac to the garage makes "good enough" a little bit better.
I love seeing how you all are **** about it - my wife would kill me if I was that ****. She already thinks I'm crazy.
