hide away License Plate, anyone installed it?

OK I did some search on the forums and no result, I have seen this in Audi forum and wondering if anyone installed this here for mini?

I really hate the look of new TX license plates, specially in front grill and it is mandatory to have both plates installed here.

here is the link:http://www.swiftmotorsports.com/prod...08b7bdbdf01eef

Or This one:http://www.altecproducts.com/

I had it on my stock front bumper before going to Aero kit. But to hide the hardware I installed the Home Depot rubber lip to hide the hardware....

Worked great that way.

Is it very hard to install on a Mini? I'm currently running without a plate, and this would be a great alternative.

How hard is it to do this 2 wire mod they're talking about? I'm assuming you'd need to install a button in the car to work the plate's motor as well, right?

I would think as it shows somewhere in the link it comes with a remote control that you can use it as key chain and not adding any phisical button anywhere in the car, I could be wrong.

I didn't see that. If that's the case.. me likey

For those who've installed these on your Minis, could you show how you did the install? I'd just be nervous with the power lines and not knowing where's best to mount on the under side of the car. Thanks!

Both of those vendors also sell manual, non-motorized versions at much lower price.
