One day without the car, and I already miss my MINI

Title is supposed to read "withOUT"

My friend said something last night that made me laugh, "Most times when someone gets a new car they detail it or hang some dice from the mirror, but you... you gut the whole interior!"

I bought my new MCS on Thursday, complete with a blown HK amp. So instead of buying a used AMP I managed to score a pretty slick replacement system for about the same price. We got started yesterday but didn't finish. I left her, an hour and a half away, with my boyfriend so he can finish the stereo work on the MINI during the week.

For the next week I get to drive a base Subaru Impreza instead of my incredibly fun new car. I've only driven it to work once so far and already I'm bored out of my mind and missing my MINI. My boyfriend on the other hand is very excited about getting to drive my MINI all week. I get to see her again on Saturday but when I do she'll sound pretty sweet.

What I got (my bf is seeing if the shallow-mount 12 inch Fosgate sub I bought him for his old truck will fit. If it does, he's re-gifting it to me)

How I left her

My loaner

Yeah but when you get it back it will be with beautiful sounds, right? Meanwhile enjoy the Subaru.

It will definitely be better when I get it back, but I only had the chance to drive it for three days and 300 miles before handing over the keys for a full week. It was difficult.

Just think of all the places you'll be motoring with your new tunes.

Yeah, but you'll love the subwoofer addition when it's done.

P.S. My MINI is in the shop from yesterday to tomorrow myself, so I here you.
