Does anyone else have a problem with the rear-view mirror being a blind spot?
I pretty much have this problem with any car, but a little more apparent in the mini. I literally have to duck and look under it to make sure there are no cars or people at a four way stop.

I find that the entire windshield-roof-line is too low actually, and I have to bend my neck like crazy to see some stoplights.

Do you have trouble seeing traffic lights when stopped at an intersection because the roof-line blocks the view or the rear view mirror is in the way?? Here is your solution!

6'1" here. And 270 lbs. And I'm most comfortable with the seat not all the way back. 'Never had anyone in the back seat of my 06 cabriolet. Also, it was interesting to note that while I was driving a brand new 328i hardtop convertible as a loaner car, the 328 was much harder to get in and out of because of the slope of the windshield. It had less leg room as I had the seat back as far as it would go and still wanted more. And with it all the way back, it had no more space between the rear of the front seat and the front edge of the rear seat than my Mini has. And, even with the front seat in the lowest position, my line of sight was much closer to the top of the windshield frame than when I'm in my Mini. Finally, the cabin space around me seemed much more cramped and close in in the BMW. All in all, it was amazing how much more room there was in my Mini compared to that bigger BMW.

MINI is one of the few cars I have driven where I actually slide the seat up a notch from full back. Once I started lowering the seat bottom I found the light in site not so required. The high roof and windshield way out in the front of the MINI is one of my favorite features. Most cars today slope the front so much the windshield is practically in your face.
