General MINI TalkShared experiences, motoring minutes, and other general MINI-related discussion that applies to all MINIs, regardless of model, year or trim.
I, too have a Volvo. Some of you might have never seen one like this. It is a 1967 1800S. We have owned it for 23 years. The C30 is modeled after the wagon version of this car. I also had Whalen make a custom shift **** for the Volvo. The MINI and the Volvo will be garage mates....
For what it's worth I've had no major problems with any of the VW's I've owned. VW service sucks, but I'm able to get more fixed than at the MINI dealership...
VW's I think are a better bang for the buck when it comes to modding, since the community is so much larger.
btw, if you get a GTI/Rabbit pre '07 I think, you can use a vag com to adjust the steering feedback level.
If you're anywhere near San Diego, I can hook you up with a well-maintained, nicely equipped, low-miles R53 that I am selling. Why am I selling it? I've got 2 MINIs, and really only need 1.
yea that's only 1150km, eh think you could explain something for me, are there two vancouver's cuz everybody from the states puts WA afterwards or does vancouver just sit on the border or something, I've never been able to understand it.

The Vancouver in Washington is the original and sits near the southwestern corner of the state. The newer Vancouver is in Canada, where they just held the winter Olympics, and sits just to the north over the border of Washington's northwest corner.
