Seems to me like a Lexus RX would be right up her alley

Wow. She's a little negative about the layout of the interior buttons. That's what I think makes the mini - it's different. I bet she loves honda.

I kinda wanted to punch her after watching that. She said the ride is very unforgiving? yea OK Ive driven an R56 S loaner and the ride is MUCH more forgiving than the R53. She also said the steering is heavy... its not heavy its stiff and responsive, which is how cars should be.

ughh whatever.

+1 and Ya she was very negative on the MINI because she is the kinda girl that needs a car to drive for her. BTW when she was parking she about hit that car behind her. I think she might have hit.

Cnet's car reviews have traditionally been SO bad. I mean wth, Cnet has a hard enough time reviewing a cellphone or computer, which is supposed to be what they're all about. Why they even dabble with cars is beyond me.

UGH I'm sick of people talking about the volume *** placement. It is close to the shifter, which is where your hand should be when it's not on the wheel! And besides, MFSW is standard now so you don't even need to use the *** anyway. I think the controls are very handy once you get the hang of them, which takes like 2 days!

I agree Everybody seems to knock the controls and I admit on my first test drive I found them a little odd, but they are second nature now.

Don't even get me started on the whole handling comment

She did hit it... they replay that at the end of the review, you can even hear when she hits the van.

And she laughed. I think MINI should never allow them to review their cars again for all eternity.

I didn't see the hit the first time, but I went back and watched the replay, she hit that thing really hard! Talk about no respect for a borrowed vehicle!

You guys are blinded by your dislike of her. She does NOT hit the van. She gets close, but there's no contact.

watch to the VERY end of the video, she in fact hits the van very hard. It is like a little outtake reel tacked on the end.

That she does, the van even moves on the hit. The first parking she does is probably a retake after hitting the van the first time.

Loved too how she made the one left turn, then chose to pass on the double yellow line...

Oh, and I didn't know the sport button reduced turbo lag, did you???

Oh I know, just poking at the ignorance. We all know it's actually throttle response at the pedal.

Glad that was said by another woman. You don't need to worry about being PC.

I didn't like how she spent 1/3 of the review cutting down the controls, which for the audio I actually tend to agree with. What was particularly annoying was the fact that she started outright by saying how much hated the vehicle yet goes on to give a fairly neutral review (pluses and minuses). Maybe she should stick to trying to review cell phones.
