What did you do to your mini today?
I accidentally put about 5 gallons of regular gas this evening in my JCW because I was talking on the phone and wasn't looking closely at what I was doing. After I noticed my mistake I stopped the pump and put another 7 gallons of premium gas. I'll be taking it easy for the next 350 miles or so lol. I hope i didn't do any permanent damage to my car.

Stole my words right out of my mouth. I live in Kansas where the "highest" gas is 91..I always use some sort of additive or octane booster with every fill up!
I got an EX. I love it! Drives like a G37 but has cargo room. Already putting a parts list together. I had an M35x before the MINI and it was nice, but I'm liking the fact that I don't see the EX nearly as often as other Infiniti models
Returned from 3 week Florida trip to Orlando and St. Augustine with wife and dog. Boy it's cold up here.
Drove ~5,200 km (3,200 mls). Spent about US$150 in fuel for each direction (including all side trips over 3 weeks) and averaged over 30MPG (highest average MPG based on fuel fill-up was 37MPG!).
Minimal feeling of warped rotors at the start of trip. Definitely noticeable now post-trip and will have to get them checked.
Drove over some massive pot holes, crushed one large beer can with a tire (what a noise that made!), and was struck by one sizable rock (two paint chips on the roof right down to bare metal, but no dent ), survived heavy fog in Tennesse and avoided that nasty storm in Tennesse/Ohio by staying an extra night in Goergia.
Weirdest comment from Americans about the MINI (Driving a massive pickup truck): "I didn't realize you could drive that far in a MINI. Thought it was like a golf cart." We ran into a lot of odd (small-town??) folk on this trip. Living in a city of 5-6 million it was more of a culture shock than expected. Very nice people in St. Augustine and unexpectedly also in Orlando... but everywhere else was hit or miss.
Although the JCW had no real issues with the long-distance, think carefully about a long road trip in a JCW with sports suspension, 17" wheels and that JCW exhaust.

ECS do you offer the stock suspension shocks, and springs for the 06 MCS??
Send me a PM, stock springs are weighted to VIN and options. Shocks are with and without sport suspension . PM last 7 of your Vin.
Thanks

Should've done this years ago but had my NM Engineering short shifter adapter installed today. Bought it off a forum member here a year or so ago and never got around to installing in. It's snowing here today but had an appointment with a local shop that put it on, 30 minutes later and I'm amazed! Should've had one of these a looooong time go.
