What did you do to your mini today?
Think Percy is talking about the Gen 1 ( R50 / R53 ) upgrade to the center console. For MINI up to 7/2004. MINI of that era, just had the carpet below there.

Today the 'luggage' boot nets I bought from eBay arrived so they are now installed - not sure how long they will stay in place, the upright one seems to be more hindrance than help but i'll give it a few weeks and a few shopping trips before final judgement.
I managed to lose the gear shift indicator display on the drive to work, but then realised i could reinstate it by holding in the indicator stalk button with the display on remaining range :-)
Will be attempting an ecu reset via the hidden menu later - the courtesy car i had yesterday was definitely more sprightly than ours.

The 10th anniversary is the "Aluminum Anniversary", so.perhaps a billet shift **** is in order.
ECS should be able to chime in with some suggestions.

Borrowed some time in my friends garage and replaced the oil filter housing today, in the hopes it solves by low oil pressure startup. Fingers crossed because the old housing drainback valve looks ok.
Took about 5 hours.
Of course during that time it showed about a foot and a half so getting up the driveway was a challenge.

Topped of fluids, so I can bring it to school this week.
Since buying the BMW I have driven the MINI less It's not that the MINI is not fun anymore, but the fact that the BMW is keeping me busy as I try to catch up on it's maintenance. I can get back on the MINI and instantly say "this handles muuuuuuch better."
Although, it's fun kicking the tail out on the BMW and having a drift
