I run Blizzaks on my car and it's simply amazing in the snow. If you keep the DSC on, your mini WILL go where ever you point the wheel. I've driven through 12+ inches of snow (though i was plowing a bit with the front), passing spun out silly SUV's.

I've tested it and I get more traction with my blizzaks than an SUV with all seasons that even has its center diff locked.

I look forward to the snow so i can have some fun around turns

+1 ........like I said above..... snow means snow tires.

Put 4 good snow tires on a Mini and it's like a little tank in the snow. I put the convertible away for the winter, but I have 2 friends that drive their Mini's all year round, both are running 4 winter tires and they do nothing but brag about how well the Mini handles in the snow.

Bingo... I went with some inexpensive General Arctics on a 15" rim, and was very pleased with their performance compared to all-seasons the previous two winters.
