If you're on the east coast try Mini Annapolis where I just got my Clubman. PM if you'd like details. Custom ordered and WAY over 1K off.

Seriously though, thanks for the positive replies and encouragement!
Now the current deal is even better! You get the Premium package "free" which is $1750 off the price before negotiations! Plus 0.9% financing for 60 months!

I was looking at a new convertible, built for me, with Premium, CW and Sport with some other adds for $32500.

Yeah, I wish I could have done it by my wife said the payments were just too high.

Looking at a 2008 CPO Sidewalk now for $24900. Only 16000 miles and LOADED!

The $8k less makes a BIG deal on payments!

MD this is where we got our MCS. In fact Karma was there (we don't know them, but remember the vehicle).

If I ever get another BMW I will buy it from them, based on their attitude along. Mini of Annapolis, and you know I rarely pay compliments.

We ordered our JCW Clubman in Jan and got $1500 off of MSRP. We got the 2.9% financing and MINI Financial paid for the first 2 payments.

Hi everyone,
I thought I'd fill everyone in about my purchase. I ordered my mini today and received 1500 off MSRP. I really appreciate all the feed back. I finally orderd the dark silver MCS I've been lusting after for years. I think it also helped ordering at the end of month when the sales force is trying to meet quotas. Ufortunately a shortage of auto transmissions is messing with my manual order for some reason.

something weird is going on with Aisin the auto tranny supplier, for my MA told me that effective 6/15 the A/T option is being dropped for base Coopers only, with no word on what they will be replaced with, if and when they are replaced.

If I read this right, you are saying that A/T will only be available on the Base, Just a Cooper? Doesn't sound right, unless in their BMW wisdom, maybe they are finally going to put a DSG six or seven speed transmission, which I just might consider. Would make the option list a bit more interesting, and this transmission would be strong enough to put next to the JCW engine, too. Maybe I'm just dreaming.

The dealer told me there was simply a shortage of AT. I'm going manual so I didn't dig too deep.
