The "Blob" on the right is the Clubbie. I haven't driven it in a long while since the Run Flats are like rolling rocks in cold weather.
I miss the experience!
30 plus inches in Bowie, Md - still can't get out of the drive way - the street is unplowed!

Poor MINIs!

Another Upstate NY-er checking in with very little snow (and so grateful). I am glad too, this is my little girl's first *harsh* winter (she used to live in Miami). I didnt want her to run away from home!

I am so looking forward to another snowstorm this week. According to the NWS, we can expect 12-24" of the stuff on Weds.

At least I have a garage.

Found this in my email about 15 mins ago ...

UPDATE: National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for D.C., effective noon tomorrow to 7PM Wednesday. All parts of the forecast that were just sent remain the same, except the projected snow totals HAVE BEEN INCREASED TO 10-20".

Lesson learned!

Learned my lesson in the December storm.

For the Feb 5-6 storm my '08 Cooper S stayed in the garage and got a wax job.

Probably will stay there for the storm tomorrow night too.

Here's Laurel after a long day of skiing snuggled up in the garage. Most of the snow blew off on the drive home. She definitely loves the snow!

Here in southeastern CT we dodged the bullet the other day. It seems the good folks of NJ erected a wall and kept all the snow south of their border. Things look different this evening. Local news stations predict we'll get slammed with 12-24 inches of snow in the next 24 hrs. We're now in "yellow" alert. The lil guy's in the garage, tested our generator, purchased two bottles of vodka, a case of Bud light, and called the kid around the corner who plows us out. I guess we're ready.

Hang tough folks! 'Em are some great pictures and you'll have stories for years to come. I hope you all fare OK through the storms (past and future)!

I don't know how many times I've said and felt like our tractor-mounted snowblower is worth its weight in gold!

Oh Joy! Another 12 - 20 inches, and to think I haven't gotten dug out from the last 30 inches of snow! Ummm lets see 30+20=50 inches, not to mention the snow we had last weekend and last week and last December - will the madness ever end???

three and a half hours later, I was dug out. Its alot different with 10 ft or so of snow behind your car than say 6-7 ft. Park anywhere though right?

The dig out continues. The clubbie has a perfect snow blanket - contoured, even about the same thickness!
Interesting..
The sad part is I can't drive him until the weather and roads get better - RFT's are like rolling stones in these temps!

Wow, mrmagoo! That's some blanket there!

Well, I finally got Scoopie moved 4 the 1st time on Sunday. Was goin' 2 a M&G in B'more 4 the auto show, and everything looked clear from my window (passenger side view). Got my camera, 2-way radios--all set 2 go. I knew there was a mound of snow in front of her, but figured I'd just kick that out of the way and be gone.

NOT

Walked around 2 the driver's side, and there was a whole 'nother story. Snow had drifted from the ground up the entire side! Sooo ... needless 2 say, didn't make the auto show, which was a bummer, since I was really looking 4ward 2 hanging w/a 'new' MINI club 4 the 1st time. Went back inside, called the office and asked if they had any shovels they could lend out. Good news: yes, they did. Bad news: no one had returned one yet.

Took my dustpan outside and got Scoopie out anyway (took awhile, tho).
