I think of MINI as a cult, not a religion.

Me likey!!!!!!!! THIS IS BETTER than checkerboard! I like the black. Goes well with all car colors and is a nice and simple design as well. The halo also stands out more against the black and that's a good thing. It got kinda lost in front of the white. Nice work AGAIN! This is my fave so far. I also like the mini with the feet and I love the evolution with the three ape/people then the car. I would buy any of them! Tough decision. I think I would pick the evolution over the mini fish feet design but that's just me. The mini feet design maybe doesn't work so well out of the context of THIS thread I think. The evolution and mini religion designs you can see and understand in a second without thought even if you don't own a mini or aren't an agnostic/atheist. JMHO of course.

Rumor has it the sneakers add about 5 hp to the car when you drive with them on.

Does someone have a good source for getting badges made?

Anyone have a higher resolution image of the evolution progression? I'd like to get a CafePress.com sweatshirt made with it.

Yes, what next? I need to get a badge holder! Stickers would be easier of course.

I recommend Cooper Flags for grill badges. I love theirs. They're thick and aren't flimsy like some other badges I've seen. The custom ones cost a little more though.

Shall we vote on a logo so we could do a group buy? Or shall we each do our own thing and call it the Atheist, Humanist, Agnostics, and Anarchist Motoring Enthusiasts?

I think a group buy will get us better pricing.

First, don't mess with another artists work without permission. It can't be produced without permission and copyright.

I like the sun, it stays in my entry. Dawn of time/enlightenment.

The "Mini is my religion" means an atheist would have a religion. Loses it's meaning.

Hey sorry I'm a bit late here. I only read the first two pages, but I really like the idea. I had another idea for a SHAM-Wow bumper sticker.

"Jesus is my dynamic stability control"

I'll be sure to catch up on the rest of the thread when i get me some work done.

"A wise man proportions his belief to the evidence"

A select few awesome quotes:

"Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the Western Spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun. Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-eight million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue-green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea."
Hitchiker's Guide

"Now it is such a bizarrely improbable coincidence that anything so mindbogglingly useful [the Babel fish] could have evolved by chance that some thinkers have chosen to see it as a final and clinching proof of the non-existence of God.
The argument goes something like this: 'I refuse to prove that I exist,' says God, 'for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing.'
'But,' says Man, 'the Babel fish is a dead giveaway isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don't. QED'
'Oh dear,' says God, 'I hadn't thought of that,' and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic."
Hitchiker's Guide

"He hoped and prayed that there wasn't an afterlife. Then he realized there was a contradiction involved here and merely hoped that there wasn't an afterlife."
Hitchiker's Guide

And the absolute BEST explanation of Atheist thinking ever put to words:
"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?"

At over 11,000 posts I think MINI is your religion. Keep in mind, this isn't JUST a group of atheists.

Nah, Mini's not my religion any more than scale replicas, nudism, or a few other things that I have high post counts on other forums.

Please keep your conversation away from attacking faiths and religions or discussing the merits of one system over another. While this thread remains as a location for community building and finding others with similar opinions, NAM is not the place to discuss the specifics of politics and religion. Part of maintaining the NAM community is limited these types of discussions in order to avoid unnecessary conflicts and exchanges.

And by the way, the motoring badge ideas are fantastic.

You know what. If atheists can't talk about why they're atheists, for example using quotes to illustrate, them perhaps in all fairness the atheists AND the christian threads should be removed. If the christian thread can quote the bible, then they should be getting warnings as well.
