A friend and I were actually considering getting an R50 and swapping the engine with a smaller v6 or something. The hemi is just crazy! I can't imagine the car's total weight now!
I'm interested in any photo blog about this build. It looks rather impressive from an engineering point of view.
This type of project is actually very simple. Very "OLD" school.

Not a chance! The blower (Super Charger) is real, it is fueled by 2 Edlebrock 625cfm carburetors but the injector hat is cosmetic, there are screens inside.

More than likely the same or lighter. The Hemi was a popular build in the 60,70 and early 80's because of its ease to build massive amounts of torque and HP and not wiegh as much as say a BB Chevy. Exception would be an aluminum BB Chevy.
