I first bought a 2003 Cooper, waited over a year on a waiting list, then 3 years later had the chance to upgrade to a year old 2005 Cooper S. Then I got divorced and remarried and my new wife wants a MINI Convertible which she already configured on MINIUSA. I configured a matching 2010 Clubman for myself. My 5 year old told me yesterday that he wants my 2005 MCS when he's old enough to drive, lol. I think MINIs will be in the family for a long time.

If you think you want one, go test drive one or find a place that rents them, and "own" one for a day or two and that will probably seal the deal for you. Once you are sure nothing will stop you from getting one, visit the dealership several more times and drive a Cooper, a Cooper S in convertible, hardtop, clubman forms and learn the differences between them so once you place your order you will know what you are getting!

Good luck!

Sound like you have commitment issues. Just do it you won't regret it. Oh btw all the cool kids have one you want to be a cool kid right. It makes you feel good man. Just once just to try it. Ok enough with peer pressure get one......go!
