Given production number, VIN, find out "production week"?
I know my VIN, and production number, and the sticker on the door says "11/08" (November 2008). Is there a way from that to get to the week?

I am pretty sure you can call the original selling dealer and get your week production with your production number. It might be in your vehicle's service history but I don't remember sorry.

ok; I was hoping that prod #s were serially assigned, and ranges were known for production weeks, or something to that affect. I just contacted the dealer.

I'd call MINI USA. They can look it up by VIN and tell you in 30 seconds flat.

Well, not 30 seconds but yes; they told me the production day, after calling Mini. The dealer couldn't help "after the fact".
