Undiluted Gasoline Availability List

Thought I'd start a list of where one can still find gasoline undiluted with ethanol. I myself will go a bit out of my way to get just plain gasoline. I usually average about 3 to 4 more MPG using plain gasoline over gasoline blended with ethanol.

Tullahoma, TN
2 - BP stations; one on Anderson, one on Wilson
1 - Exxon; on the corner of Anderson & Carrol

Manchester, TN
1 - Phillips 66; on US 41 on north side on town

Decherd, TN
1 - Phillips 66 on US 41A

Not only does the MPG suffer with diluted gasoline but I feel the difference in the power and response as well.

where ever you are look up the bulk suppliers that provide fuels to industrial applications - we buy it like that at the zoo for our equipment and our 50 year old train (old Ford engine). They almost certainly have 'pure' fuels and usually have a pump at their facility of direct fills even tho that isn't their primary business. AND check out stations connected to marinas as outboards do have documented issues.

In Brevard Fl
Glover Oil, 3109 S Main St, Melbourne
Neil's Riverside BP, 201 S Harbor City blvd, Melbourne
and the BP just south of Patrick AFB on South Patrick drive but I understand this one was to close as of tomorrow but have not been by to verify . . .
"and also available at many marinas"

altho here's a data point, a friend of mine decided his truck really needed 'the good stuff', found a supplier, burned up what was in his tank and filled with 35 gallons (only half full) . . . his mpg has gone down

We have a few independents here in Chattanooga that advertise no ethanol. To many to list.
Most of the majors do have ethanol here, with the 'Up to 10%' stickers on the pumps.
Price for the no ethanol is about the same as with the 'up to 10%'.

Hey guys, how about getting this thread back on track. I just want to know where 100% gasoline is still available when I travel out and about. Not about the pros and cons of ethanol and MBTE.

Thanks in advance.

All I wanted was a list of were I could find gasoline without ethanol, not a debate. If a debate continues, I'll ask the moderators to lock this thread.

Please let's get back on the original topic.

This thread is as confusing as the others on the topic. Two of the stations listed in the initial post (the Phillips 66 stations) are "top tier" retailers, and one of the requirements for a "top tier" retailer is that their gas must have between 8% and 10% ethanol, in *all* grades of gas, at *all* of their retail locations.

So, are the stations you listed truly ethanol-free, or are they just violating Tennessee labeling laws by not having their pumps marked? Did you test the gasoline from those stations, or are you just basing your decision on the lack of a pump label? Or, are the pumps explicitly labeled "ethanol-free"?

While compiling a list of ethanol-free stations would be useful, it's also important to discuss how to decide to put a station on the list.

The ones I been to so far in this area have state labels on them stating they contain no ethanol, 100% gasoline.

If that includes the Phillips 66 stations, then that's very important information, since it means that the requirements on the "top tier" website are either outdated or flat-out wrong.

Well, before the thread gets closed, this may be what you were asking for in the first place:

www.buyrealgas.com

It supposedly lists customer-reported ethanol-free stations for each state, although I can't vouch for the accuracy or timeliness of the listings.

I made the debate into a new thread here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ifference.html

Please keep this thread list oriented. That's a good starter list Scott (it doesn't look complete, but I've got to check the address of the station I have in mind to confirm it)

Thanks Scott for the link. I just added the stations that I'm aware of in this area to that list.

Also thanks to Motor On for fixing this thread.
