Mini roadster photos from LA Auto Show
Hi all!
I just had to share these photos with you all. They're MINI roadsters from the LA Auto show, courtesy of a relative of mine who got to go. To be sure, they're just in the concept stage right now, but still. Fun!!
PS - No, sorry, I don't have any specs on the cars. Just these photos to drool over. Enjoy!

One member of that market right here. In 2020 I'll be ready to trade my '02 in on a roadster. This is certainly more in line with the MINI heritage that the Crossman (what an abomination).

The big international shows in the US are Detroit, LA, NY. Some of the other big ones are Frankfurt, Tokyo, Shanghai, Geneva... these are all the big shows where you get major new launches, huge press coverage and speeches from all the CEO's of the top automakers.
Here's some footage of it from LA in HD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7l_DYSL5-Kw.

The cars weren't there...
so you didn't miss much.... The Mini booth didn't have a classic Mini, didn't have a Mini-E... Had some JCW and standard product. And a Clubman with a "Woodie" vinyl wrap.

The Orlando show is an international show. I did get a MINI lanyard from the booth but, the show is up and down. Some years its awesome like when times are really good but if something as much as a car crash in the local area then all the manufacturers don't show.
thanks for sharing
slightly off topic question but does anyone know what they do with concept cars? especially ones that never actually make it to production? do they just store them forever in a giant warehouse?

Ya they normally wil go into storage, some are sold off, some end up at the company's HQ for display, or they are sent off to meseums. In some rare case they might even get destroyed.
