As a business owner I can tell you there is no basis for sticking with a sale. If a store has an ad in the newspaper and it's a mis print, there are not obligated to sell the product at that cost. Now if the 50% off sale is misleading I'm not sure. Prices do change from time to time. I ordered an exhaust, front and rear sway bar links and a rear sway bar. All are the same price today they were when I ordered mine.

Seriously, that's like getting mad because you paid full sticker for your MINI and now they're knocking hundreds off the sticker price. (I'm kinda one of those BTW!) BUT, I still saved money on my stuff from ALTA. And if you really look at it, I guess the early bird gets the worm right?

I ended up being able to buy two items (22mm rear sway bar and complete R53 intake set) that I never intended to buy, because the sale brought them to prices I was willing to buy. Do I wish I could have bought them for less? Sure, but I still feel like I got a great deal.

I imagine some of their products had dropped more in price than others the past few months or years, so I think they felt they could grab more attention if they simply stated a flat % off all of their product's MSRP prices. I clearly noticed the "50% off MSRP" portion of the add, and went in knowing this. Whether they had made specific items 10% off, 25% off, or whatever, or did what they did and brought them to MSRP and then put 50% off to bring them to the same EVENTUAL price, I don't really care.

Now, if this had been a small, privately-distributed coupon deal and they raised MSRP, I may have been a little put-off as questionable business, but I'm pretty sure anyone going to their site wouldn't be able to miss the massive advertisements for the sale.

This sale let me buy my first "serious" aftermarket stuff for my MINI at a price my college-student budget could afford; therefore, I'm pleased.

I don't like Alta very much.

Ordered spark plugs from them and after week and a half of not receiving the item, they tell me "oops, it's out of stock. We should receive it in a few days."
when I contacted.

Well, at least send me a notification by email or phone or something.
Not to mention change in availability of the product on the website.

I'm sure they are busy, but that doesn't make an excuse for delay in customer service. period.
