its got nothing with being generous or selfless...its got to do with business...and i dont care for a second about alta, its his concept i had a problem with...read and understand before you speak...i have a business, and im sure many other business owners will agree that while it is important to satisfy your customer...you dont do it at the risk of, in this case, fact that you will take losses...it defeats the purpose of being in the business, you are there to make money, not lose it...and you might add nothing else to your smartass statement because all you're doing is insulting me, if you've got a rebuttal, make a fair and logical comment supporting your claim...insulting people because you dont like what they're saying doesnt get you anywhere...

 

I offer thee a challenge which will be more titillating than a rebuttal in my humble opinion. I think you will find it unusual and even exciting. Let us play rock, paper, scissor. when does alta's 50% off sale end?

 

I would love to play some rock paper scissors. And the sale ended on saturday. You lucked out man. Waiting for my intake and 17% pulley.

 

All I can tell you is that a vendor on here told me that every Alta header he sold threw codes and Alta had no fixes or advise. At least RMW made an effort and eventually got a fix out for the codes. PLUS, the RMW makes more power than the Alta.

 

My order still hasnt shipped..... working 12 hour shifts=they are closed when i can call.

i goofed up 1 order, sent an email and tried to contact them on AIM with no response.

put in another correct order, and am still awaiting the site to say it has shipped...

I ordered a stealth cat back exhaust on Saturday for $450 received and installed it on Wednesday. I love it! Thanks Alta

 

It took them 2 days to ship out my pulley and such. My guess is that they had a lot of last minute shoppers and couldnt ship them all at once.

 

Ya were stupid for being upset that they advertised a sale at 50% off. Then half way through raised all their prices becaue they didnt like the way their own sale was going. Thats not ok, I dont care who you are. I bought stuff and got the call saying my ic diverter was discontinued. They were going to refund my money which at a week now I havent seen. Then I got a box yesterday, wrong parts (got subaru parts). I am on the edge of contesting the charge on my card as I dont know if I will be getting parts or my money back at all. I have made 4 calls to alta trying to get this straightened out. Nothing has happened.

 

Well thats a completely different story. I would be mad about that too. I for one am happy with my purchases, but it seems to me that Alta has put themselves in a pickle. Hopefully everything works out for you.

 

And if everyone has noticed they put the %50 off sale back on till Sunday. How about everyone just be happy that a vendor is still doing a sale. Hopefully this time around I can get a few parts.

regardless of all this MSRP talk or not... where else can you find a rear sway bar for 100 bucks or an intake for 117 bucks? It's still the best price anywhere on the internet or any shop. Only thing cheaper would be if "something fell off the back of the truck".

i havent received my intake hose or intercooler couplers but they should be here monday
i agree with people that it's still a great price even at 50% off msrp.
i also see where the angry people are coming from..they should at least let everyone know that they had to change it to msrp..or put it on their website at least..one or the other. just to let everyone know wat's going on

if i saw the cheaper prices on friday, i probably would be mad..but with the prices i saw when i ordered my things, im a happy shopper..wat can i say

and a word of advice if you guys accidentally order the wrong piece and want a refund..
i ordered something and asked to cancel as soon as i ordered.
they cancelled it pretty quick, but they already had charged my paypal (automatic)
and it took at least 1.5 to 2 weeks to get my refund..i kept calling and they said the person that handles the refunds isn't in the office and blah blah.

imo it shouldnt take that long to get a refund even though it was my fault to begin with..
i still ordered from them even though that happened but i just thought i'd let everyone know to make sure they order something that they know they want!!
