While watching O'Reilly this evening this commercial aired. No red capes in this ad.
Nevermind that one's a car and the other an SUV

Lol ill race it and see who wins! Now we should see who the best car will be. Its really dumb how they put the Cooper S instead of the Cooper. Ya the cooper s has a lower MPG rating because of the Turbo. & commercials like these also **** me off

Lots of recent ads comparing cars to the MINI. People who know I have a MINI ask me what I think about the ads and is (insert car name here) better than the MINI. I just smile and ask them to think about it themselves. Why compare a MINI with an SUV (or other)? Because the MINI is one of the most popular cars being sold today.

GM can't give cars away, Cadillac sales down 47% and letting you bring the car back if you don't like it won't help either. Just think, your tax dollars are paying for this crap of a misleading ad. Real world I would bet my small fortune against any GM executive that the Mini would get better milage. That's the Ugliest SUV on the face of the earth. We spent $60 Billion dollars to save the union.
Its all BS, but some people believe it. I remember an ad back in the early 80s that had a AMC Eagle I believe with all wheel drive out race a 6.6 Trans AM, on loose gravel. I mean come on who is going to do that, but yet there are those that will buy into it.
Well come on I don't see what the problem is. We all know that MINIs are just like SUVs they are big and get horrible gas mileage and that every soccer mom and red neck wants one. So I just don't see the connection in this ad..............What? Nah j/k
this is the biggest load of crap ever.

The terrain is a tall wagon version of the Malibu and is the same car as a Chevy Equinox. They make it look giant-sized with that big GMC grill. Oddly enough, even though it weighs over 10% more, the mileage rating is the same as the Malibu, both city and highway. I wonder if it has actually been tested by the EPA or if GM is claiming the same mileage based on it being a similar model with the same powertrain?
