Playin' Possum

My MINI techs at work found a surprise when they popped the hood on this R53...

...the customer drove the car from Boston to Inskip MINI, a ride of about an hour or so. But who knows how long it was in there before that?

That thing would of been a crispy critter had it crawled up in an R56.

No doubt...but the R53s with the hood insulation still installed start to bake pretty good after shutdown.

Agreed...that thing found the perfect spot in the "not-a-lot-of-room" R53 engine compartment.

I thought it was dead at first and wondering why the tech was scared of opening the hood and touching it.

How cute... a baby possum.

So someone asked, does that thing run on squirrel power? No, POSSUM!

Hey, I just brought my car in to get the exercise wheel lubed and you let my engine run away!
