Kayak + MINI
My MINI is currently in the process of getting to me(
), and I was just wondering about other people's experiences.
I have a 16'.5" Sea Kayak. Does anyone have experience putting this on the roofs of the MINI? My big worry is that since the roof is so short, the pressure on the middle of the Kayak would be a lot, and not be very good for the kayak. On our other car, we put a hitch on it and got a rack that is made for trucks at the end of the bed to transfer kayaks and attached it for added support. I didn't know if this would work for the MINI because of it's height, but we'll try it once we get it.
