Have my basenji on the passenger seat, in a harness which is secured to the fastened seat belt. This allows movement while protecting him and me. Now I need a barrier to keep him from wandering into the rear (rear seats have been removed). Tried a net, but hey, he's a basenji, so he's overcome that approach.

Have you tried something that works? Solution needs to be independent of front seats, which need to fold and slide forward. Any helpful ideas are welcome!
