Not sure I would camp.... But im sure it would be good for going to the Dragon or any other event.

 

that is a little crazy. good idea, but crazy.
roof rack won't hold 300 pounds. putting 2 people in a tent on the roof just doesn't sound feasible.

 

I'm pretty sure that the two tents are actually mounted on the vehicle behind the Mini. I think the Mini only has the carrier and the kayak on top... although it's still a very interesting photo!

 

Im thinking Edge is right. The other car that is inback of the Mini has the other tent on it. I think the roof rack and roof can hold the weight of 1 person.

 

yes, the image is clearly showing one tent on the roof of the mini cooper. the link to the website shows that the roof tents can hold 2 people.
but i don't think my tuckus could get up there with a anorexic and not break something.

 

I believe there are actually 2 cars behind the MINI each with a tent on top. That is on old style MINI that could not be more than 4 ft across the roof. The white roof carrier clearly spans almost the whole width of the roof and the Kayak is clearly centered in the white carrier. There is no way a tent for 2 people would fit in the approx. 1.5 ft left on the far side of the white carrier.

 

The link takes you to a site for Land Rovers. The Mini definitely does NOT have a tent on top. The Land Rover, or Rovers if there are two picture have the tents on top. Hard to tell for sure with the picture. Here is a picture that I took at the 2007 British Invasion in Stowe Vermont.

 

Then again....maybe it does? Looking at the web site some more it is for the roof top tents, not Land Rovers and their products sure look like the bottom of what shown on top of that Mini......

 

Guess it is possible....
