. Just installed the BMS Clutch stop a few mins ago. What a diff!

Here's my 09 MCS, I got it last year with 42k and have made it a project to get this thing running correctly! I love this car, so I endure the N14 :D
Sport package, cold weather package, bi-xenon, 6 spd. Piano black / silver int.
It does help tremendously to have a Mini tech in the family
He has helped with all the maintenance stuff, I have done all the other mods myself. It's been an adventure

Enkei GT7 17x7.5 w/ Toyo Proxes 4 Plus 215/45/R17
Shrader rear seat delete
NM shifter + cover
H&R 19mm rear sway bar
Prosport 60mm boost gauge amber/white
Alta CRV spring upgrade
Timing chain + tensioner + guides replaced
De-cocking
High pressure fuel pump replaced
NM oil catch can (modified to filter passenger side pcv)
Custom "cold-side" boost tube
Hood latch mod
Disassembled and greased so many pieces of the interior trim I've lost count
My gf drives a 2016 Crosstrek, I'm in school full-time so I do the cheap/used/DIY mods, and I have time to do all of the basic maintenance myself. I have previously owned a 1991 318is 5-spd, a 1998 Golf GTi VR6 5-spd, and a 2003 WRX sedan 5-spd. I have modded and sold them all, most regrettably the BMW. The Mini is my relatively inexpensive Euro/turbo daily driver and I love it!

My 2011 Horizon Blue Cooper, just under 40k miles. Premium Package, STEPTRONIC automatic transmission, Chrome line interior, Chrome-line exterior trim, and Bluetooth and USB/iPod adapter.
Had it about a month - very impressed so far. Added the white bonnet stripes last weekend - almost went for black but decided I wanted more contrast with the blue paint.

Ok I feel like I'm in over my head. I have an 09 R56 that is Horizon Blue Metallic. I live in a suburb of Indianapolis. In all honesty I wish I knew more people with Minis, especially my color. I need some help doing some work on it. I have a dent on the edge of the driver's side door and need a new shell. I named him Herry Monster after Herry on Sesame Street. I would love to get my hood and bumper repainted. Looking at all of the chips in the paint makes me kind of sad.
