Tuscan Beige Durability

I am trying to deside on getting a Cooper with Tuscan Leather or an S (budget does not allow for both. I don't want to bring up the S vs. Justa thing... my main question is for all of you with the Tuscan leather is how does it hold up. I am concerned about how dirty or stained it gets (from jeans, kids) and basic wear and tear. I have had beige leather in cars before, but it always got stained. Now that our son is older I think it may not be as big a deal as it was in the past, but I don't want to regret getting it.
Thanks

Well.....I was concerned about the Tuscan when I bought my 07 cuz the Lapis Blue in my 02 did not wear up to my expectations (but I never complained to the dealer and today it is holding its own)

My 07 Tuscan is holding up well and with an occasional wipe with a decent cleaning product is OK....I've no pets/kids in the car and the wife is only allowed in if she has showered and put on clean clothes (approved for no sharp button/buckels/whatever) within the last 60 minutes.

My happy experience with this interior resulted in ordering new rec-room furniture in the same color leather.

Similar rules apply

Probably not a completely qualified responder as I've only had mine for 6 weeks or so, but if you take reasonable care of it (no greasy, dirty clothes, dirty animals, etc) I think it will hold up fine. The T.B. leather is really nice IMO.

I keep some towels in the back in case I ever need them, but I think with occasional cleaning/wiping down with a leather cleaner/conditioner it should stay looking fine. Like any leather furniture, I think it tends to actually look and feel better after it's broken in a bit. Mine is still show room new.

i've had my car for less than three weeks. this weekend, i used meguiar's leather wipes on my tuscan beige and whatever stains i saw (rubbings from the sweet's black pants and my red t-shirt) came out with just a little more effort than merely swiping the wipe on the surface.

i'd agree that unless someone or something filthy is coming into the car, it shouldn't be a problem. i'd trade wiping my tuscan beige leather down every few weeks for having to keep a towel in the car to cover the backs of my thighs before nestling my rear on black leather that's been superheated by the hawaii sun (which is something i do in the sweet's titan w/black leather).

We've had the Tuscan Beige for almost a year now. I agree that an occasional wipe with some leather cleaner there is no problem with staining.

But it does suck if you have the panoramic roof.

Where i live we have lots of dirty old diesels. So i get tiny drops of soot on my seats if i open my roof.
