Recommend some good wipers

I'm in need of some good wipers. I saw a commercial for these Rain-X Latitude wipers. Are they any good...anyone know? If not, what good wipers are out there?

Thanks in advance.

I've been using OEM replacement blades changed every 6 months since the car was new. They work amazingly well.

The OEM blades don't last very long.

PIAA Silicone blades work very well and the refills aren't too pricey.

there are a couple of threads on wiper blades..try reading them sometime (not being sarcastic..but being truthful as they really do help)

but from wat i've read piaa super silicone wiper blades are one of the better ones out there for our windshields that is..

rain-x latitudes SUCK! they have spots that don't make full contact with windshield, and at speed they chatter and streak. pretty expensice too.

I agree. I put them on my non-mini, but wish I never had the "full blade" tends to pull water back as it returns in downward stroke - maybe due to low pressure on that side.

The original set of wipers on my Clubman worked fine, and I had them replaced by the dealer at one year. The new set, which are the same OEM blades, are very streaky and noisy.
I tried a set of basic ANCO wipers (series 31) because they were highly recommended by Consumer Reports, but those didn't lay flat, there was an area on the right side of each blade (as viewed from the driver's seat) which didn't make contact with the windshield at highway speed. I guess I'll try the PIAA silicone next, or go back to the dealer and try my luck with another OEM set.
