All you need is a long piece of dental floss or monofilament fishing line. Get under the edge and saw back an forth and it will come off (they are held on by double-sided foam-type tape). The remaining material can be removed with Goo-Gone.

I have debadged my HD and the pinstriped it using this method. Just be careful to pull slightly away from the car finsih, as you can leave marks if the finish gets abraded by the line.

You can also but the tape in most auto parts stores and rearrange or add new badges.

Take your time--patience in all car mods.

Yeah fishing line works a lot better than floss. I started out with dental floss and it was taking forever...switched to fishing line and it was done in seconds!

Use a little Goo-Gone to get the residue up and you're good to go!

Moved to General MINI talk

Turtle wax makes a polish that is also excellent for removing the remaining glue residue.

I tried this method and it didnt work to well. I only removed the S on the back because you could see the outline of were it used to be. I've been trying to figure out another way to black them out. The wings would be no problem to plasti-dip but the word COOPER wont be so easy to mask off

Yes, you will see the outline, but if you use the goo gone, then wash the car and wax that spot, in time it will disappear.

I took my Cooper S off with floss shortly after delivery with no ill effects. Might be a good idea to heat them up before trying with the cold weather.
